Pros

Videology has an upbeat office vibe. Most employees are young and eager. Office sponsored happy hours and office parties for new recruits. Not so much after you start. Keg in the office and nerf fights help keep things fun. Good compensation.

Cons

If you aren't a UVA grad or from ad.com good luck. You likely won't last long or get hired. Very fast paced with little direction from senior management. Plan to rely on coworkers for help.

Thank you very much for providing us with feedback on your intern experience! We do take pride in our company culture and have done a lot recently to focus on graduate recruitment as we understand our future is dependent on the capabilities of our people – our true assets! There were a couple of statements in your review that we wanted to address. Videology is made up of people from a wide variety of schools, experiences, and skill sets. If you’re talented and exhibit the capabilities we value most, where you’ve been doesn’t matter to us. Our intern recruiting program is growing and evolving and will incorporate more and more universities over time. We are very excited about our ongoing efforts to find the best talent out there! Regarding your commentary on our fast-paced environment: It’s true! In our industry, we ask our employees to take initiative and remain flexible as we continue to evolve our business model. It takes a true go-getter, self-motivated person to thrive here. Management is here to coach, champion employee ideas and guide them to drive our company’s mission. We do work in a highly collaborative environment, which requires strong communication and relationship management. For interns, we’re hoping we see in you that same go-get-it-ness it takes to succeed at Videology! Thank you again for your feedback. We will definitely continue to focus on the helpful advice you have provided!

Pros

Ability to move around and make a name for yourself if you are proactive and driven. The culture is pretty good. A young company but well-funded and established.

Cons

Senior Management couldn't be more out to lunch and misaligned. Products need a lot of work and are tough to get behind if you are in Sales. Pretty below average with salary compared to the rest of the industry.
