Pros

It is great to work for the University as a student because they are aware of student hours and give flexible working times. They are very accommodating and want to help you grow as well.

Cons

As the House Supervisor your expected to be on call almost 24/7. I've heard working in the dining halls can be very fast-paced and a little stressful. It is harder to get time off.

Pros

The environment is intellectually stimulating and generally laid back for most of the year. The only stressful periods are when grading work clashes with your own work as a student, which tends to be near the end of the semester.

Cons

You could be stuck with a large, introductory class, which leads to a comparatively unequal amount of work compared to others who get to teach smaller courses.
