Pros

If you are the types who don't care for rules and structure, this is the place for you. Build PR and get your way, leave the rules for lesser mortals. Same applies to promotions & salary increments. Build PR, demand and then who cares what you are worth..PR gets you through. Ditto for growth opportunities - if they exist at all

Cons

Absolutely un-structured and non process oriented organization- Operational Processes are very immature Excessively people dependent in both support functions and revenue functions. Clerical & worthless work at offshore Chennai center is totally mismanaged Business Consulting Practice is a complete facade. It is just a BA sweatshop and if you are lucky you get some system analyst work- forget about consulting or even Business Analysis. Business Consultant Role is totally un-defined. There is no domain or technology inclination where a business consultant can grow and then add value. Anything that a technical or a project manager can not do is a "Business Consulting" work. If you are moving from a bigger organization and already have certain defined skills in domain or tech, this organization being small offers better prospects, but if you are planning to build your Consulting career grounds up - then joining this company would be a mistake. No mentoring, grooming or investing to train employees (Buss. Consulting) philosophy exist. Ad-hoc projects, Ad-hoc management and as a result Ad-hoc career direction
