The CEO is one of the most morally corrupt and insecure human beings. From lying about the finances of the company to lying to clients, to tarnishing the well-regarded images of past employees, to secretly listening in on conversations between employees/meetings, he does it all! No dirty trick is beneath him! Leadership uses fear-mongering tactics to scare employees from asking questions or offering a perspective that's different from theirs, leading to highly unethical company decisions. Unless you are desperate for a job, do not join this company! There’s still some institutional ptsd from the old days that has been slow to fade amongst the long time staff but that isn’t for a lack of trying from the CEO and VPs - it’s just a legacy that needs to be overcome through trust building and rooting out people who don’t want to make things better and just don’t want to do the work but that is definitely happening.
