      Pros

      Hard work, creativity, enthusiasm, and team-building are valued and appreciated. I take pride in working for a company that delivers high quality results to the government. The tuition reimbursement and training opportunities are excellent. Employees share knowledge and help each other grow. Visionist is selective about what contract work they take on and they have a big selection. If you want to change contracts to further your career goals then they want to help.

      Cons

      I do not have anything negative to say about Visionist. Sometimes the clients can be challenging to work with when the customer does not share the same enthusiasm and passion for the product. I appreciate managements commitment to finding the right customers over time.

      Pros

      By far the best job I've ever had. With a remarkably employee-focused culture and boundless opportunities, it's no wonder that Visionist is growing like crazy. Every day I wake up feeling excited about the work I'm doing. The atmosphere is fun and challenges you to push yourself simply because the problems are interesting, the technology is cutting-edge, and there are so many smart people to learn from and be inspired by. Apart from that, the benefits are top-notch, the calendar's full of fun events, and there's no limit to the career opportunities.

      Cons

      Coming all the way from DC I was a little nervous about the commute at first, but I'm so glad I didn't let that stop me. Once I move a little closer I'll have to get even more creative to come up with a "con" :)

      Pros

      Lots of contracts, so you can jump to new projects when you're ready for something new Management is very supportive of employee growth in whatever avenue they are interested in, even if it doesn't apply to their current contract. We do a lot of internal R&D work so new ideas are always supported. Company atmosphere is very open and supportive

      Cons

      Unfortunately, a lot of the company is split between different contracts and are not colocated (and therefor don't get to enjoy the swanky company HQ). We do tech talks, beer nights, game nights, happy hours and company team builds regularly as a way to make up for this though.
