Paid Weekly, competitive wages to local competition (HCOs ) *if you want a PT job that is what you will have.

Cons

Advertised looking for FT caregivers when they don't have any clients needing FT. Office staff have been playing musical chairs in position and authority. Miscommunication regularly. Caregivers often get patronized and blamed for responsibilities of the office staffs shortcomings. HR manager that was unbiased left the company. High turnover.

I loved working with the elderly people.

Cons

They constantly struggle with scheduling. At times I was scheduled for 2 people in one day. Eventually I was with a single client that I loved. They changed the policies while I was employed and it didn’t work for me. I tried to speak with the owner but she NEVER called me back. I eventually went on a one week vacation that was scheduled months in advance. When I returned, I was no longer scheduled. I called many times and emailed to get an understanding of their reason. Nothing. I am assuming I am fired. D

Pros

To help people who are sick and need help with basic necessities of life.

Cons

Travel 40-45 minutes to client's house. Don't mind the mileage just the work I do and the 12 hour shifts I work should be worth a lot more than I am paid...afterall I am responsible for their wellbeing. Pay not no where near enough for what you are required to do for the clients.
