      Terrible hours

      Pros

      Nice co-workers, good staff. Friendly work environment aside from upper management / directors.

      Cons

      As a care manager, you are expected to put in way too many hours. They expect you to work at all hours of the night, early mornings. Administrators don’t know what they’re doing. My co-workers were all great people. They know what they’re doing and that is why this place succeeds. Low pay for the hours you work. Have to be on-call 7x a week with no compensation. They take advantage of their office employees.

      Pros

      Visiting Angels is basically the same as any Homecare agency. Plenty of clients that need round the clock care and keep your schedule full time.

      Cons

      The orientation and training is not informative at all. If you have not done this before, you might want to educate yourself first. You won't get it here!

      Pros

      There was always plenty of hours for work.

      Cons

      I was thrown in with a special needs client with very little training. The office staff were unwilling to listen to my concerns about my own health while working with my client. I was forced to work multiple 10 hr days in a row because "no one else could care for th client" and they apparently couldn't train anyone.
