Pros
VC is a great company with great people. They do their best to make sure that their employees are happy and if you are someone who doesn't mind working the extra hours, there is annual overtime ramping up to the game release pretty consistently.
Cons
There is a lot of pressure to deliver material by the deadlines, work loads can shift from completely empty to overload in the blink of an eye depending on how assets are flowing through the pipeline. With so much work to do they are far more worried about getting done rather than how well it's done, so if you are someone who takes the time to try and do something well, you can often feel punished for it.
