Top management is completely clueless and act as so.
Lack of good benefits (Some people get more than others as the HR rules on benefits doesn't apply to every department, no concrete rules)
Lack of communication in this company is overwhelming. Lack of structure (training and resources too) and processes within all departments. Lack of structured systems =extreme manual work
Management including HR department plays favorite with people, if you are not in their "kool aid" group, you will get poor incentives and most likely, be fired.
It is very obvious who comes first, it is mainly people from, HR, Recruiting, Sales, Marketing, and Innovation departments.
Management continues to lie and hides true facts because they want to make it seem as everything is/runs smooth. Management lacks to promote people within and rather hire people who come from/graduated out of "bigger" companies/supposedly prestigious companies-universities because they believe that those people will change the path. Meanwhile, they lack faith and no incentives given for the people that do the actual hard work. Wrong people get incentivized and promoted fast constantly. Company is quick to hire consultants rather invest in a full time person who is truly needed in certain departments.
As this company went public, the top management team is now well off/cuhsy positions; there is a very mere possibility that their "extreme old fashioned HR policies" will ever change. You are better working for an ethical food company that truly supports their people first simultaneously makes "actual" changes in the food industry.
