Pros

Great Health Benefit, 401k, and great blood donors

Cons

Does not appreciate employees. Will never give you exceptional rating because they dont want to give a higher raise eventhough that employee is exceptional. Will almost always deny time request due to short staff

Pros

Saving lives each and every day. Sharing knowledge and confidence in your team and donors.

Cons

You cannot voice yourself about anything that happens inside company walls. Poor communication throughout company . Any questions or concerns are always dismissed and never appreciated. Only negative is reviewed to the employee instead of any positive enactment the employee has made. Bare minimum benefits. If you have children, plan far in advance if you encouter an urgent matter/illness. Even if you call in for your sick children, you will still be dinged on attendance, so please be warned. Policies and structure have never stayed consistent. Upper management fails to advocate for their employees. Being employeed for over a decade and still getting pushed to the side. This company is NON UNION = employees are a number. (It's not what you know, its who you know). Choose wisely if you wish to be employeed by this corporation.

Pros

Have a great manager and get to learn new skills in my field. Love working with my team. Pay is very good with opportunity for bonus. Great work/life balance. Good 401k with matching. Telecommuting is available.

Cons

Health insurance is just OK. Aetna does not have the best customer service. It's in-network only with a fairly high deductible. The company funded HRA does help with that but still higher deductible than I've had at other companies. Doctors visits and prescriptions are all paid at full price out of pocket until the deductible is met. No short-term disability insurance. There is an in-house illness/injury accrual benefit but it accrues slowly and has to be replenished over time if used. PTO accrual is OK. Paid out at termination. If you have a spouse with great benefits it will help.
