Pros

Meeting new people and improving your sales skills if your interested in that. Very interactive job and you will generally get back what you put into the job. The ability to improve your communication skills is there and this can be a profitable opportunity depending on the type of person you are.

Cons

Some of the sale tactics you learn are underhanded. The work-life balance is horrible as you only get Sundays off. This is a door to door sales job and do not let any fool you that its not. This job might not be for the introverted people or someone not willing to deceive someone into signing a contract. Because its door to door, you will meet rude people all the time.

Pros

Terrible management, narcissistic sales bros, no growth. Oh but they have a basketball court and free lunch.

Cons

Vivint's unethical business practices are evident in their employee training, which prioritizes dishonesty over transparency. The management is solely concerned with maximizing profits and treating employees as numbers not as people. Although they may try to impress potential employees with fancy amenities and free meals, and high commissions, these perks are only distractions from the company's true intentions. In fact, entry-level employees often make more money than those who have been with the company for a while. Vivint's growth plan is nothing but a trap for unsuspecting employees. The company sets metrics that are designed to make career builders fail. If an employee fails to meet these metrics and performance, they are immediately placed on a final warning and fired the following week. Management also actively seeks out weaker salespeople and weeds them out naturally, demonstrating the company's lack of empathy for its employees. Working in their customer service and customer loyalty departments are appalling. Most agents do not have support when dealing with customers. Agents are treated with disrespect and customers are frequently lied to about the products and services offered. Vivint often enforces iron-clad contracts on customers who are unable to pay or require the service, leaving them in a difficult situation. Working for Vivint offers no job security, making it a risky career choice. The company's unethical practices put employees and customers alike in an unfavorable situation. It is clear that Vivint values profits over its employees and customers, making it a company that should be avoided at all costs.
