I been a employee at von maur now for about 7 months. From the moment I started with them I have grown from my starting position. I feel like management does care about what you want. Also they take great care in training you. The hours are great. They also understand you have a life outside of work. Very respectful staff and management.

Cons

Dress code kinda sticks. I don't mind wearing dresses or skirts it's more the tights and nylons I hate. I really wish they would update the dress to dress pants much more comfortable and cute.

Pros

decent pay for retail, wonderful store to shop in and customer service is by far the best around.

Cons

Conservative, lots of rules, schedule is automated and not easy to change if you have a conflict. Very slow during the week with only a few customers.
