Pros
Sales commission, paid holidays, and gratis items are all nice perks. Time and a half sundays. Potlucks and free lunches in the month of december are also nice perks.
Cons
Customers are permitted to be abusive and pretty much do whatever they want. New policies make it difficult for employees to shop at Von Maur. Example - Employees have a very narrow time window for returns. (30 Days?!) Northpark Mall (Davenport, Ia. Von Maur) should not tell customers who make their purchases at the Davenport Iowa Von Maur store that it is okay to take all of their returns to the Moline IL Von Maur. (Especially if you do not have your reciept. Thank you past and present Davenport Ia Von Maur store management for encouraging this.) It is fraudulent. It goes against Moline Von Maur's sales and not the Davenport location. It is deplorable and you should be ashamed of yourselves, you know who you are.
