Management was a big downfall, they seemed far too buddy buddy with each other and cared more about taking a lunch break with pizza together then being on the floor dealing with their employees or customers. When it comes to a customers word or an associates, they take the customers hands down even if it is ridiculous. Covering in other departments was never something anyone wanted to do or were good at doing, you take away someone knowledgeable about their department to a department they know nothing about and make them try to help customers. The turnover rate in employees should give you a hint you are doing something wrong.

you are not of any worth when you work at Von Maur . when you are told that there would be no breaks at invortory so her Store could get done before another store really!!!!! We came in at 5am...... no down time until 11am. no time to be with your family.
