Pros

Best reasons to while working was meeting all the nice customers. Additionally my co-workers were very helpful and easy to work with.

Cons

The pay is not as good as I would've liked. Hard to get promoted unless you're going to give up the majority of your time. Work-life balance is challenging.

Pros

Meet new people and the Vons I worked at was in a neighborhood, so a lot of friendly long time customers. They will work around your hours "most" of the time. A form of health insurance, though with obamacare who knows if it is worth it.

Cons

Pay is bad, almost no room for improvement. This is a job when you are in high school or going to college and nothing else. Only was a career for people before the strikes.

You would get discounts if you shopped there and there are many opportunities to speak with and bond with your coworkers

Cons

They don't really train you, they just throw you in the water and hope you know how to swim. My manager would always get mad at me if I took too long to do something (even though I was new).
