Pros

I received a lot of great training and development opportunities while there. Thankfully I had a boss that did a lot to help me along. Overall great learning experience. Flexible scheduling to an extent.

Cons

Pay can be a little rough, lot of politics exist within the stores, corporate micromanages which in turn makes management micromanage. Although I moved up quickly it was hard seeing so many people that had potential never be given the chance, I feel more like I was lucky and less like that was the norm. A lot of employees seemed dissatisfied while I worked there.

I gained customer service experience after working for the company for a year and a half, I formed lifelong friendships with several people there, half of the people are very important to me and I keep in contact with, the other half of my coworkers I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to work with

Cons

Hard work and dedication goes unrecognized, sexist bosses who aren't good at their jobs, demanding customers who are rarely satisfied, benefits aren't great like they used to be- not worth staying for, nobody is happy to be there, low wage that rarely raised, felt like I was treated less-than because of my position and the location I was in

Pros

The people I work with are really friendly and helpful, the management is patient and flexible and helpful too. Being able to help customers and interact with different people is fun and interesting. Always learning how to do new tasks. After you get the hang of how things work, it can be a fun and challenging job.

Cons

Some customers can be hard to please. Sometimes as a courtesy clerk, you can have a lot of tasks to handle at once, and you kinda have to learn on the job. First two weeks are kinda hard and your feet will hurt.
