Pros

will sometimes work with your school schedule, coworkers are friendly, easy work

Cons

management gives no words of encouragement, management doesnt think of you, they dont care what your situation is. not promoted that easily, customers are rude and mean, you are forced to ask for donations and sign people up for their new program, they dont care if you're in college. pay is awful, management is unfair when dealing with people

Low pay High-school atmosphere Promotions extremely hard to come by Limited number of full-time positions Inconsistent scheduling Service program is a joke Union ensures that no matter how hard you work, your seniority trumps your performance Low morale among underappreciated employees Front-end supervisor "promotion" is a title only, no pay raise involved Ridiculous sales expectations for outside departments

Upper management does not allow Store Management the freedom to do waht it takes to takee care of local customer needs. They are looking for robots not open minded leaders who are contributors to the companies future decisions.
