Worst place and they will take advantage of you. I wanted to get back to work so I got a job in bakery. They told me because I will be going through training for bakery. I will have a different salary than minimum wage. I contracted covid my first week of working there. It was the absolute worst. I couldn’t work. I contacted them to inform them and they treated me as if they didn't want to have anything to do with me. I asked about covid relief pay. They told me they can’t do that because I was new. They pressured me to come back into work even though I was extremely sick. I felt I had no choice but to quit just to get some rest. I kept asking for HR but never spoke to them. Then I finally get a call back from a lead not HR saying they do provide covid relief but since I quit I will only get a few days. And they messed up on my check. They did not want to pay me the bakery salary they told me I would get.they even went as far to say I wasn’t in bakery. After I had to repeatedly informed them that this is wrong. They gave me 0.05 above minimum wage. And did not pay me the over time I worked. Every time I tried to ask questions I was told to ask someone else. The employees there always talked about how they wanted out of this company. How they are treated but needed the money. How they take advantage of you. Absolutely the worst.

Audits, audits, and more audits. Covid shots and sales with so little help. Never enough help and stores have to find their own coverage when techs go on vacation. Management doesn'the care to help. Albertsons, company running the entire co. is one of the worst employees out there. And the union does absolutely nothing for workers except collect dues. Every negotiation we've had, the co. gets whatever they want as the union never really fights for pay, ancillary help, etc. The co. does well, the union gets their dues regardless of how poorly workers get treated.
