      Pros

      Flexible work arrangements. Decent PTO. Generally people who want to do good work.

      Cons

      The volume and velocity of change is horrifying. I don’t know another word to describe it. Constant organizational change and reductions, all done to reach an overly aggressive growth target. Leadership has been at Gore for so long they don’t know how to operate in this new environment. Feels like they’re just making it up as they go. Scattershot decisions, very little real communication, and a fearful employee base who are so afraid to lose their jobs they just do nothing. It’s a completely organization than I joined 10 years ago. Change was needed, but not at this velocity and without capable leadership to chart the course.
