Many of the engineers are great to work with.

Cons

WD has acquired many other big companies, HGST, and SanDisk being the biggest. This has led to a having a lot of upper management, organizations spread out all over the world, and annoying geo-politics.

- As someone who is new to the firmware industry, this position requires strong will to improve in order to learn topics that have a steep learning curve. Hence, learning abilities will undoubtedly improved. - Good colleagues/teammates that provide great guidance and help to juniors.

Cons

- Job will be difficult if one lacks sufficient understanding on product and computer technology.
