Interesting technology. Good fab with advanced equipments compared to many small fans in Bay Area. Located at north east corner of Silicon Valley, good for commuters from east sf bay

Cons

Politics among people and groups. No cafeteria with food. Dying industry with little chance of advancement. Pay is pretty bad for younger people.

Great company, great opportunity to learn in various area after merger with HGST & Sandisk corp. You will be exposed to the integration process of how great companies work together, and streamlining their legacy processes from three into one, by phases, by area. You can get supportive team here, you can contribute for your department as well across functional, if you willing too.

Cons

Pain time to cut staff, cut budget during the long process of consolidating three giants into one, to keep it slim, efficient, and getting out one best practice to fit all. You gotta be patient & open-minded as it takes time, quite long; that no staff replacement, slow promotion cycle, until the new process is in place, by phases.
