This company has a very old school technology mentality. The office decor is depressing. The only way to get a raise is to come to them with a better offer (i.e. they do not do annual or performance based raises) and the firmware organization is dysfunctional in the EXTREME. There is zero process and resistance to change is epidemic.

Eliminated research recently in order to save short-time cost while imposing huge loss in the future. Upper management has no understanding of technology, middle and lower management only concern about their own benefits, but claim all the credits. Hard working employees are under recognized or rewarded. No viable technology to enable growth in HDD business.
