Pros

Benefit is average,and used to have good cash bonus, but not anymore due to higher debt to acquire SanDisk and getting worst in HDD market.

Cons

Regular "RIFs". Low employee moral. Loss more and more talent employees due to HGST integration chaos. Not much room for career development and advancement.

Pros

not a lot. Most colleagues are very friendly and happy to help when you need. Its products are still needed for many IT applications, PC, cloud, so the company is still very profitable.

Cons

Its technology is losing ground when competing with flash SSD. After buying Sandisk, the company will invest more money into flash and 3D NAND, rather than HDD. So, be prepared to see more layoffs like they did recently.

The salary ad benefits were decent.

Cons

Leadership was disorganized and the direction was unclear. The person who screamed the loudest and cursed the most during the meeting received the most attention, which caused a lot of tail chasing.
