Pros
The people within our division were fun to work with, where all were open to mentor others - or to be mentored by others. To counter the stress of scheduled releases, we all found ways to make each other laugh. The medical benefits were managed by Anthem, but it was funded directly by Western Digital, who could and did change the rules to improve health care. For example, preventative care medications were provided without having to meet the initial deductible (i.e. insulin for diabetics).
Cons
Rolling layoffs, with promises by upper management that the last one was always going to be the last.
