Pros

The people I work with on a daily basis are great. Smart, hard working, dedicated, social, not too young or old. The Fenway area is lively and has plenty of lunch and after work options. The office view is phenomenal. State of the art hardware that's far more interesting to work with than plenty of other options in the industry.

Cons

Leadership can't seem to make up its mind on where it wants the company to go. There's been a whirlwind of leadership hires and exits. While I give a huge amount of credit to the founder-CEO, seems like he's drank too much of his own koolaid lately. Commute to Kenmore can suck and they've recently instituted a 4-day RTO policy. IMO they're going to lose a lot of solid senior level folks with the decision. It's tough to run a hardware company like a software startup and I feel like that attitude is going to catch up with them eventually.

Pros

WHOOP is an incredibly inspiring and rewarding place to work. While the mission and impact on humanity are both very tangible and impactful, what I find most compelling about WHOOP is the people – they are some of the most passionate, talented, and humble people I've ever worked with. Candidly, I could not imagine working somewhere else. I love the lofty and attainable mission, the drive for excellence and consumer value, and the gritty, collaborative, and fun-loving culture.

Cons

Things can change quickly, sometimes unexpectedly so. You have to stay light on your feet and remember that the only constant is change. (But if you're not ready for things to change... probably join a bigger, slower, and less innovative company)
