Business Outlook
Pros
Great benefits package (401k match, employee stock purchase plan, medical/dental insurance, other benefits), admirable focus on safety and sustainability. Business was always done ethically in my experience...which does not seem to be the case at all companies in this industry. Some groups allow for flexible hours and/or remote work access.
Cons
Pay levels seem to run less than some other industries for similar positions. Expected hours can run into evenings and weekends, which could be a work/life balance issue for some people. There seem to be frequent acquisitions of other companies, and those mergers/transitions are not consistently/smoothly managed- which produces some negative effects for employees and clients.
