Pros

Identifiable entertainment brand, decent pay, garaged parking, passionate staffs

Cons

My review is only in regards to women readers, the previous reviews re: mis-management are all well written. In my twenty years of earned professional and executive experience I have never endured nor witnessed the way in which women are treated at the WWE. I work in Finance and Operations at the senior level and work across the company (not with talent). Day to day you are subjected to open leering above other roles that I have had. However, it is what happens when a colleague or junior female staffer leaves the room that is absolutely appalling. The immediate suggestions of her sleeping with this or that executive. We have had several recent news worthy female exits and there was an immediate slander of them having affairs with the top. Any attractive female, especially the younger staff, is constantly pawned at by the seniors. There have been several articles re: race issues here but it is truly the anti-women attitudes that are loudest.

North Korea might be a better option

Pros

Benefits were good and comp was in line with or better than competitors by title, free tickets to events if you're into that. Decent Gym that is free, if you can get the time to go there.

Cons

Manage through fear. Too many Managers, not enough Doers. No such thing as work-life balance. They view you as property that is available to them 24/7 even when on "vacation". Culture is a giant CYA, you WILL be thrown under the bus multiple times a day, so be prepared. There is a complete lack of internal development and growth opportunities.

Pros

Staff typically start out as an interns, or some form of it at WWE... Which gives you great exposure to so many aspects of production that you wouldn't otherwise have at many other production companies. Writing, producing, directing, and editing are all part of your first year at WWE depending on the department you are in, and to the level at which you perform... So if you keep your chin up, your mouth shut and let your work speak for itself, you will succeed at WWE.

Cons

It can be a very toxic work environment at times with a lot of turnover, I spent over 9 years with WWE and while I do owe so much of what I have to my experiences at the company - I left because I couldn't deal with the political game that seems to be played there. I found myself participating in the nonsense because the job made me so depressed. When the stress, and politics wear you down to the point that you no longer enjoy producing creative content, it is time to move on.
