Pros

Clients were great most of the time. WaFed doesn’t believe in quota’s which takes a lot of stress off of employees.

Cons

Whatever you save in stress not having quotas is added on in the form of financial stress. WaFed pays employees very low hourly rates.

Good Company and People but a few quibbles

*Good Benefits Package including Stock Options, Reasonably Priced Health Care Options, 401(K) and Performance Bonuses and PTO

Cons

*Covid-19 Protocols are lacking. They required employees to use their sick and personal PTO and if the had inadequate balances go without pay. Felt like their policies were always there to meet minimum CDD recommendations and were designed to protect profits of company over people. *The PTO accrual system requires a long wait before it starts to increase. Wish it had an annual increase even if it was just a couple hours a year rather than the 5 year wait for the first increase

Thanks for your post, I appreciate your perspective. COVID was hard to work through together but I am incredibly proud of how we handled it . Not to say we were perfect, but given the circumstances we built our culture and we focused on the health and safety of our teams and clients - while keeping the bank open for business.

Little or no opportunity. Did not reconize potential in employees and your promotions would be in title only not $$$.
