Pros

wonderful client base. Products used to be exciting and progressive. Had vision and hope of path for success. Company used to have purpose. Too many egos now

Cons

New management is not focused on creatives. Company has lost their edge. Sinking ship. Phase 2 is a fizzle.

Pros

Very loyal customer base. An excellent reputation of bringing to market innovative, high quality products for the creative market. Strong, smart, creative people work for the company. Beautiful new headquarters in each major market.

Cons

Highly political. Company decisions are made by only a few that have their own interest in mind, and not what is best for the company. New ways of thinking and doing things are not valued. Company has not kept up with their reputation of putting to market innovative, high quality products. Competition is now strong, and Wacom has lost it's traction. There are zero employee development opportunities nor documented paths in place for advancing your career within Wacom.

Pros

The management teams and the people who do the work are wonderful to work with

Cons

-Currently the company is going through an much needed extensive reorganization. While this has caused the typical/expected discomfort, the decision making has not changed to fit the new structure. -There are executive VPs that will say inappropriate statements in groupd settings and treat each other like 5 year olds. Their egos are larger than this company. -This is not a positive environment for women - the executives come from old school behavior. Unfortunately this will not change any time soon, since they keep hiring within their own network.
