Pros

Great people and product. Amazing customer base of creatives and artists give meaning to the work. The company is small enough to be close to the product and make a difference. Lots of opportunity to experience and contribute. very collaborative at the peer level.

Cons

Highly political for a company this size. Many cooks in a small kitchen. Hire-and-fire management culture out of touch with customers and employees. Leaders brought in to transform the company are gone very quickly.

Pros

Depending on role, you may get to travel to Japan.

Cons

Misguided & horrible leadership from Japan that has little regard for the personnel in the US.

Pros

Pearl district location is very nice. Two weeks of vacation time.

Cons

No raises. No training. No growth. Extremely poor leadership. Employees are kept in the dark. No middle management. Too many executives that are overpaid and incompetent. Japanese leadership blocks any efforts at doing things right. Good efforts are killed or ignored when they threaten someones' own bonus structure (project needs to launch on time, even when it's a complete failure). Employees are demoralized. Management is more interested in playing musical chairs with titles. ABSOLUTELY NO ADVANCEMENT! What you're hired to do you will not do. You have to earn part of your pay - if you don't get a positive year end review, part of your pay will not be "funded" (taken away). No accountability. Business goals and targets are unrealistic. This year holidays were cut, medical insurance was decreased. Company stopped paying vendors and contractors.
