Entry level competitive pay, great regular customers, learn the ends and outs of running a business.

Cons

Depending on what market your in the worst of the worst hourly associates you will EVER manage, constantly changing bonus structure, on call like a doctor, work ALL holidays, buddy buddy system from upper management on selecting who they like.

The best possible part about working at a restaurant like this are the connections that can be made with customers. Hours are very flexible and as long as you are a courteous person with good work ethic you will do well. it is a typical serving job.

Cons

The main challenge that was faced during my time was the franchise owners. They were not as business savy as they should have been. Corporate was always in correcting them on items, which they would then punish the employees for, very unprofessional in interaction with servers. These franchise owners not only did not care for the personal lives or well being of employees, they would single out people they did not like and continually "re-arrange" their schedules. I lost many good co-workers due to this, the main manager was powerless to the owners dictates and just as stressed about keeping their job. These owners were the dark cloud on an otherwise wonderful work experience -- they were just atrocious.

Cash weekly. Fairly easy to gey a schedule to fit your needs. I make good tips because of the side of town I work on

Cons

Every single holiday is mandatory. Even fourth of july and labor day. Wait tables because cooks are underpaid. You have to be in a good area to get good tips
