Pros

They advance you pretty quickly if they like you and you show some initiative. I moved from Photo Tech to Head Photo to Pharm Tech in about a year. Another year to jump to Senior Pharm Tech. Company offers benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.

Cons

Long hours, little to no help, managers under schedule to make budget bonuses, the pay isn't competitive

Pros

Walgreens has economies of scale available, due to its size, and opportunities abound for the worker willing to move.

Cons

The corporate environment is toxic. Witch hunts are constant and pervasive. Management is generally horribly incompetent, and nearly to a person tragically incapable of ethical behavior.
