Cons

12 hour shifts, no break or lunch Constant stress Low pay compared to other chains Constant pressure to push flu shots Unhappy staff Understaffing. Every shift I work is miserable. There should be atleast 1.5X the tech help than what they give

Pros

Walgreens is transitioning older Pharmacists and Managers out to get less experienced management at lesser pay. They have also increased work load so beware of errors. They want faster fill times but with less experienced Pharmacists and less tech. hours. During busy times they bring workers from front of the store to fill prescriptions-dangerous business.

Cons

Most older employees feel new CEO prepping for a merger or a sale to another co. since cutting salaries makes bottom line look better but dangerous for patients.

Pros

Learn a lot about pharmacy and health care system. Walgreen's pays for certification if you can pass the test.

Cons

Pay is terrible with minimum increases and a very demanding list of responsibilities.
