      Pros

      Tech is a first class citizen at Walmart, especially in the Data and Developer Platforms orgs. Once you're in, there's a lot of room to move around to different teams to find one that finds the work you want to do and that you mesh well with. The company is constantly striving to improve it's software engineering practices and developer experience. There's plenty of teams using modern tech stacks and best practices.

      Cons

      It's a large company with a lot of years under it's belt, so there's plenty of cruft, tech-wise. While there are plenty of teams that are modern, others are stuck in old processes and tech stacks. So, you'll need to do your due diligence when interviewing to figure out if it's one of those teams or not.
