Upper management is deceitful. They tell you a bunch of positive things during the interview process and none of it actually happens. HR director is completely incompetent. Thought the computer software was an actual employee. If you try and stick up for yourself (in a professional manner) you're ostracized and a grudge will be held against you. Pay is terrible, especially when they require a college degree and experience. You can make more at McDonalds. But they will spend $6,000 on bring your kid to work day. Make promises of upward mobility but only hire outside people. Play favorites with certain departments.

Biggest con is management specifically CEO. Former controller who fell into the CEO position when founder and others left to start a new company. Cindy struggled to be consistent in directives that she gave to departments and individuals, and many times those directives were formed without a strong underlying understanding of the business. With no vision the company consistently went through exercises to cut costs as that was the only way to improve bottom line / EOY numbers, and refused suggested strategies to grow revenue and improve margin.
