Pros

There was money to do projects. They aren't afraid to take on ambitious projects even if they don't get done.

Cons

Expect to be micromanaged. There are some very difficult people in untouchable positions. They will fight you at every turn and they will undermine you. Engineering is understaffed and angry about the work they have to do.
