Pros

Industry leaders, You will work with some very nice people, Amazing Benefits, Creative environment, Huge DEI initiative led by some passionate people, Leadership and development efforts are redundant but informative, Fun opportunities to engage with your co-workers, Health and wellness benefits are curated with care by Alex

Cons

Poor leadership, Very unorganized department, Poor training and a tendency to finger-point and blame versus actually assessing processes currently in place or helping those who need it, Abysmal communication, Hypocrisy in the form of pointing out mistakes that leadership also makes (despite having years of experience at the company) FOR TRANSPARENCY: My passion for the company declined significantly after receiving a written Performance Improvement Plan. I was blindsided. There was little communication with my Supervisor ahead of this. Aside from this, I took exception to a 24-month probationary period that was indicated on the plan (at the time I had only been with the company for less than 4 months). I shared my concerns with my Supervisor who explained to me this was standard. I also shared my concerns with an HR representative who told me the same thing. I pulled the PIP template to verify and this was not in fact standard. For whatever reason, I was lied to and they ended up removing that language in the end. At best, this was not a malicious act but disregard for an employee concern or even a lazy attitude to conducting independent research. At worst, it was an effort to push out an employee without any attempt to further train or help them. Neither of these scenarios place the team in a positive light.

Same Mess, New Name

Pros

The clients, and being able to network

Cons

Wasserman Music is nothing more than the residual mess of Paradigm. As long as the same aloof, nasty, low key racist team at the top are leading, they’ll always have the same problems. Harassment, bullying, no advancing (not with real company guidelines anyway, it’s all very biased and doesn’t make any sense at all). Someone called them the same clowns at a different circus and it really, sadly true. Pay is also not worth all the work you do for agents who view you as competition. They don’t care about growing a team (I mean really growing a team) they only care about growing their own roster and how much work you can do for them, making them money. If you’re interviewing here, just know the people are terrible, they’ve been terrible for a while (just read the reviews for Paradigm) and I’m not sure they have the capacity to becoming better people and supervisors. Do not fall for their “we’re family” scam…if they’re a family…they’re the Mason family.

Pros

Great work life balance. People are very kind and great to work with.

Cons

Been at the company for over 3.5 years now and I can say, the communication has gotten worse and worse from management. Casey does an awesome job, but direct managers on specific teams are doing a poor job of developing younger employees.
