Pros

Middle management is great, they have your best interest in mind. Generous with granting quarterly incentives. Hybrid work. Relaxed attire. Opportunities for career advancement.

Cons

Little diversity of race (however, good diversity of age and gender). Compensation effectively decreases when transitioned from hourly to salary. (They expect you to work an additional 5 hrs per week. The pay raise reflects a fraction of that extra time.) Limited number of providers that accept the health insurance.

I really appreciate having a great place to work. It is hard to find good people, and it is also hard to find great places to work. 120 + years, four generations of family & privately owned. We have more flexibility with hybrid work and enhanced work-life balance. We also have much more opportunities to provide real-time feedback- it is reviewed, listened to, and acted on where possible. There are career growth opportunities -if someone has an interest and initiative. Not a lot of red tape or bureaucracy. Visibility to all, including easy access to Executives. You can make a difference here, if that is your goal.
