Pros

Doing the Right Thing is a key company value, and they mean it. They embrace and encourage self-motivated employees. All-in Compensation is fair. A fun-loving group of people. A lot of opportunities if willing to relocate.

Cons

Can be difficult to separate work life from personal life. Push to move to other cities can be strong and heavy handed.

Pros

- Strong corporate culture that emphasizes Safety, Integrity, Customers, Employees, and Results, in that order. - Decentralized structure that empowers local leadership to make decisions. An opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills in a low-risk environment. - Servant Leadership drives leadership development culture and is cultivated at all levels of the company. - Growing company that provides offers regular promotion opportunities, especially if open to relocation. - Competitive pay and benefits including discretionary (unlimited) time-off for salaried employees. - A company emphasizes employees, relationships, and that enjoys having fun! A sampling of company-supported activities I've experienced: Food & drinks (too many to count), skiing, river rafting, scuba diving, golfing, comedy shows, concerts, international vacations (yes, company paid), and many more.

Cons

- Waste/recycle collection is an essential public service. Usually this means work is required near and/or on holidays. - Similar to other essential public services, when the job is done right, customers say nothing. When the job is done wrong, customers give you an earful. - Due to decentralized leadership, training effectiveness can vary site to site. There's no "manual" for how to do your job. Employees must be self-directed and adaptive. This could be pro or con depending on what you're interested in.
