Pros
This company has an obscene amount of experience in house. The average tenure is somewhere 20+ years, which means that if you're looking to learn from those around you it's a great experience. Generally your coworkers are fun people and you can find people who share similar interests, particularly if you like to stay active (biking, running, soccer, softball, etc), Finally, the salary and benefits are competitive.
Cons
The company culture, from what I've heard, has shifted over the past decade or so, resulting in a company far more focused on the stock price and unwilling to take risks or innovate. The engineering talent is there, however it's rare that I see people pushing projects outside their comfort zone. Additionally, due to the long average tenure, promotions to any type of management position are a hopeless goal for anyone who is new(ish) to the company.
