      Pros

      - Startup-like culture within a large company (for tech) - Engineers are given a lot of autonomy. Although this depends on your team - Performance is recognized and rewarded - Fast-paced - Good work-life balance; not a lot of overtime Overall, it's a good company to work for. Although it's not as competitive as software companies in terms of work flexibility, perks, and salary.

      Cons

      - Health insurance could be better - Not much work flexibility. Have to be in office by 9AM - No investment in learning. A tech company should at least provide something like a Pluralsight subscription

      I have been working in Watsco for the last 5 years, where I have participated in the development of several technological projects. I’ve had the opportunity to see how the company is evolving, growing and expanding in their market and how they are pushing to apply Information Technology to their core business as well as investing in ventures capital. Headquarter office has an amazing location in Miami, very open space and tremendous view. In addition, challenging technological environment and qualified personnel will drive you to improve your skills in many areas, as well as boost your career.

      Cons

      401K matching could be better. Remote work location flexibility is not the best.
