Pros

-Particularly with my store, we took the Wawa brand very seriously and that resulted in overall excellent morale. Most co-workers were very hard working and friendly, and there was rarely issues with customers because of the level of customer service we provided -The training provided by the company is very thorough, informative, and easy to grasp. It is also always available for review if needed -Though I was not benefits eligible, I worked for another company that dealt with Wawa's benefits and I could see that they offer excellent coverage -The job is not difficult. As long as you can follow instructions and work well as a team, you'll be golden

Cons

-Everyone kind of had their "thing." I was almost always on the register. While I was good at it, I really would have loved more opportunity to work in other areas of the store. The times that I worked deli were much more enjoyable, and I felt I was strong there as well. -My store was small and therefore somewhat overwhelming when at peak hours -Pay is not the best, but more than minimum which is saying something for a job like this -Long hours constantly on your feet, and sometimes really weird hours. I never worked 3rd shift (the overnight shift) but I have worked late into the night many times.

Pros

You work a lot, there are plenty of things to do to keep busy and there are many times where you can pick shifts up.

Cons

Can't go over 40 hours and transitioning to full time was exceptionally difficult. This is due to management issues whereas you work for many people and not everyone can take the time to get you to where you want to be.
