Pros

-Amazing benefits like 401k, tuition reimbursement, ESOP, & PTO -Shifts go by incredibly fast because you're always busy -Competitive pay -Fun and fast-paced work environment -Great coworkers -Flexible scheduling -Always need help so if you need hours, you'll get them here

Cons

If you can't handle being under pressure or dealing with consistent business, then this is NOT the job for you. However, by far the biggest prevailing problem at Wawa is the hit or miss when it comes to management. When the managers are a hit, it's an absolute blessing to work with them. But when they're a miss, it turns work into a living hell. Lots of people who are managers really shouldn't be in that position, all thanks to favoritism. It all varies from store to store, so make sure that the one you're at has decent management.

Pros

401K match; insurance benefits; health screenings; room for growth.

Cons

Long work hours for management; Difficult to develop people with the grueling demands; growth is difficult for management because you can get moved around a lot; inconsistent work schedule; many, many tasks to complete throughout the day with very little time; they preach "embrace change" but that change isn't always better in the workplace, the bottom line is always more money at any expense; as a manager, expect to work a minimum of 9-10 hours per day.
