Pros

-Very casual and laid-back atmosphere -Young workforce--many people just out of college and easy to relate to (for those also out of college) -Benefits are pretty good -Snacks (though not free...paid for with portions of employee checks) -The holiday party was fun

Cons

-Lack of communication between upper management (directors, VPs etc) and regular employees -Lack of experience of regular managers (especially in customer service). They don't have any managerial experience outside of the company. They are around the same age as the vast majority of employees, which oftentimes fosters inappropriate interactions and relationships. -Disillusion that it is a great place to work. When hired, everyone is told (admittedly like many employers) it is a great place to work, with many opportunities of advancement and training. Couldn't be further from the truth. -Lack of challenge and stimulation, especially in customer service. -All customer service representatives have been changed, virtually overnight, into statistics. Service work and helping customers, which is what we were hired to do, is undervalued, while sales has become the focus of every manager and member of upper management. -There is no normal 8-5 or 6-9 shift. Weekends and nights are a must for customer service, despite family and other obligations. -Extreme lack of diversity, especially age.

Pros

Can't really think of anything beyond health/dental insurance which can easily be found at most companies. Intelligent, over-qualified co-workers Free snacks? If you're persauded to work somewhere based on free snacks you might want to fill out a 7-11 application or get your head examined.

Cons

Unbelievably low compensation, prepare to continue living like a college student while employed here. "Promotions" come with shockingly low (or non-existent) salary increases and painfully high responsibility/accountability. Uncommunicative/inexperienced management Employee moral of zero Company is a revolving door of quittings and firings. New hires are either disillusioned/misguided customer service reps or hired guns filling management roles. Viable promotions from "working your way up" within the company are very rare/extinct. I could go on and on.

Pros

-Great Benefits: Health/Dental plans are top notch. -Snack Room: A variety of free snacks. -Young Atmosphere: Most people are within 1-3 years of graduating college. -A good "job", definitely NOT a career. -People are generally nice and willing to help.

Cons

-Company morale is at an all time low. -People are trying to get fired. -Employees are no longer people, they are merely numbers and "metrics." -Regardless of how long you have been there or how hard you have worked in the past, you are still disposable. -Your work schedule will change every 4 weeks. Don't bother planning vacations, unless you know exactly 5 weeks in advance what you will be doing. -No matter how hard you work, it will NEVER be enough.
