Pros

a fun transition from college into the so called "real world" A great chance to learn the ropes of eCommerce. It's been awhile, but during my tenure management really tried to create a fun work culture. I met a few wonderful and intelligent people and i enjoyed working with Steve and Niraj.

Cons

LOW PAY with heavy reliance on a yearly bonus. A workforce tended to be very cliquey and operated almost like a fraternity. While CSN's policy of promoting from within attracted me in the first place, I felt promotions to middle management were given prematurely in many cases and that I arrived TOO LATE . The company was and probably still is VERY young, filled with many bright people jockeying for position. . Unfortunately, overall I believe the low pay keeps CSN from holding on to the top talent they need. Personally, I felt frustrated with being treated like a child, but I should mention was 3-4 years older than most workers. Thanks for the free fruit, but pay me for my time and I can buy my own!

Pros

CSN is a young and fun environment to work in, you get a chance to have your hands in many different areas of the business so it's a great place to gain experience and learn about the business world. Management is also fairly open about the company's sales, new projects and what direction they're headed in.

Cons

The pay is far too low to expect to retain the real talent within the company. It doesn't seem to matter how hard you work to get ahead, employees aren't rewarded with raises or a decent salary. Valuable employees trickle out to other opportutities as they can find them. Career paths have become really unclear in the past year as well, making it difficult to see where there is to move up in the company and how to get that next promotion. Young and fun can also translate into immature and unprofessional at times, but for the most part, that's slowly phasing out.

Growing Company - Great Corporate Culture

Pros

CSN has a great corporate culture. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the employees are very young and have a great deal of energy and good ideas and are very hard working. Its a great job for people with little work experience to get their foot in the door of a company that is growing very fast, and has a lot of opportunity for advancement and most of the employees are in their 20's and this is their first job out of college. CSN promotes very heavily from within, almost all of the senior management started off in entry level potions. The benefit package is very good, far superior to most other companies I have worked at or that I know of from talking with friends at other companies.

Cons

The workload can be overwhelming and the flow of the work can sometimes make you dizzy. Employees that want to move ahead in the company have to work a ton of hours and be very nimble with their ability to multitask
