      Rapid Growth & Tons of Opportunity

      Pros

      Waystar is a unique place where you can really grow professionally and personally in a very exciting and dynamic market. IMO, no company in Louisville is positioned the way Waystar is in their respective market that promotes from within like Waystar does. Through merging two of the best businesses in Revenue Cycle, Waystar quickly became a powerhouse with the best product offering in the space. Very rapid growth and lots of opportunities for upward mobility within the company. Awesome building conveniently located with great amenities. Pay, benefits, and incentives are competitive.

      Cons

      Growing pains that are expected when merging two businesses the size of Navicure and Zirmed. Lots of inertia with the merging of all departments and processes, but that's expected with Mergers. There's no indication that the growth is going to stop anytime soon, so it's really important to have the right processes and infrastructure in place as new companies are acquired, and I'm not sure those processes are in place across the board right now.

      It's now Waystar... neither Zirmed or Navicure (RIP)

      Pros

      The work environment has changed a lot over the years since initially being employed by Zirmed and has become more rigid and 'corporate', especially after the acquisition by Bain Capital. The 'merger' has destroyed poor Navicure and negatively affected Zirmedians in many ways (we lost good people too) yet I remain because of my awesome coworkers, opportunities and the work/life balance still offered. This is from the perspective of someone on the engineering team so I can't comment on the changes in other departments under the Waystar banner.

      Cons

      Not a fan of the last two CEOs or townhall meetings. The employees 'rewards' in the form of Waystar branded swag (clappers, mouse pads, energy bars) leaves me feeling a little ill.

      Don't be fooled by the overall ratings, they are fake

      Pros

      Friday breakfast - and that is pretty much all.

      Cons

      Below market compensation, poor management, poor morale, broken promises, no growth potential, high turn over, people are dropping like flies. If you aren't in Kentucky you will be overlooked for any advancement opportunities. The reviews on here were 2.6 until early January 2019, (even lower in 2018) looks like the higher ups were asked to help get this score up, so the good reviews from 2019 are complete lies. This is only one of the backhanded things they do there. Seen it happen here before. You can tell they took the bad reviews and completely re-wrote them almost word for word and added positives where all the negatives were. Nice try, people aren't stupid.
