Don't be fooled by the overall ratings, they are fake

Pros

Friday breakfast - and that is pretty much all.

Cons

Below market compensation, poor management, poor morale, broken promises, no growth potential, high turn over, people are dropping like flies. If you aren't in Kentucky you will be overlooked for any advancement opportunities. The reviews on here were 2.6 until early January 2019, (even lower in 2018) looks like the higher ups were asked to help get this score up, so the good reviews from 2019 are complete lies. This is only one of the backhanded things they do there. Seen it happen here before. You can tell they took the bad reviews and completely re-wrote them almost word for word and added positives where all the negatives were. Nice try, people aren't stupid.

Pros

I have worked here for several years. Navicure used to be a great place to work. It was a small, tight-knit company. The co-workers are great and I used to enjoy the atmosphere in the office. Breakfast on Friday and coworkers that genuinely care about eachother.

Cons

Navicure was acquired in 2017 and since then, things haven't been the same. Especially since we acquired ZirMed. It's expected that employees work around the clock: evenings, nights and weekends. Micro-managing from the very top is at an all-time high and leadership can't make up their minds on what is expected so we jump through hoops and then the hoops change. The message that is continually reiterated is that once we are integrated, we are going to buy another company and do it again. So be warned, this culture isn't changing.

Acquired employees beware

Pros

Wasn’t around long enough to learn of any pros

Cons

Waystar acquired the company I was working for, interviewed me for information multiple times and had me work on integrating our systems into theirs, and once that was completed they fired me without any warning, pip, or severance. I was fired and given pay til the end of the day and that was it. I’ve never even heard of a company doing that, but it is constant with the type of company Waystar is. Employees are extremely disposable to them, no matter how many times they say how much they value employees. I wish I had followed the rest of my team in quitting before I was left with no job and no severance. If your company gets acquired by Waystar it’s in your best interest to start looking for other work immediately.
