Pros

* Management is world class. They lead by inspiring and engaging with the team. You are given the trust and resources to do what you think is right. * State of the art deep learning research. * A lot of effort is put into the well-being of the employees.

Cons

* Due to the difficulty of the task (solving self-driving using machine learning), it can be hard to make progress towards the final goal. The challenge can be both exciting and discouraging at times. * In normal circumstances, remote work is not supported over 1 day per week.

Pros

Fantastic team and culture - very diverse backgrounds and learn something new everyday from everyone; everyone is very open-minded and supportive of each other, feels more like a family than a company Fascinating work - solving some of the hardest problems in autonomous driving and machine learning; the work involves both pushing the frontiers of research and the solving of real-world problems with potentially enormous positive impact Freedom to learn and take ownership - leadership is very supportive and encouraging of team members taking ownership and offering creative solutions; intellectually there is a great balance between the freedom to explore that one might expect from academic research roles and the opportunity to contribute to core business problems that one might expect in early-stage startup roles Gourmet lunches cooked fresh daily by a fantastic team chef

Cons

Living in Cambridge is admittedly rather boring
