Pros

In a nutshell, I'd like to say that Weber Shandwick is a very nice place to work. They do a great job and really care about doing the best work possible for their clients. They treat their employees fairly and with a great deal of respect. Work/life balance is always something they strive for, especially if you have a family. Coworkers and managers are great to work with and I feel that I've really learned a lot from my co-workers diverse professional backgrounds. Great agency - probably the best in the area - and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

Cons

None - it's really a great place to work!

Pros

Flexibility. Great people. Creative. This is a company for the long haul. Make it a career here. Other reasons include the benefits package, team atmosphere, availability to move up the ladder quickly and a great learning environment. It is a large organization, but each office is run differently, so look for the place that's a good culture fit.

Cons

There aren't many actually. It's a family atmosphere there. Very fast paced, too. So for those who aren't into that, not such a match. Also, make sure you fit in culturally with a firm. That's hard for some, easy for others. You don't want to regret your decision, especially when you need to service clients.

Pros

Large global organization with lot's of potential opportunities Depending on the practice area they have some marquee clients Each office is unique so if you're not a fit in one - that doesn't mean you won't excel in another - provided you're willing to move.

Cons

Sweatshop mentality from senior level management. Office politics are a must for advancement. Good work is quickly recognized and the credit for it taken by senior management. Lot's of old-school PR folks who don't want or because the Weber Shandwick infrastructure doesn't allow them to, shift to the new realities fo how successful PR is done.
