very disappointed

Pros

People were good at being fake to your face.

Cons

after a loyal 15 year career at Webster I was never given a chance to come back after my position went away. I never felt more unappreciated. Not the kind of company I'd like to work for again.

Pros

Friendly colleagues Open to hybrid work environment

Cons

NOTE: Recent merger may have some impact to this current experience Little to No Apparent Strategy Confusion if who does what Bifurcation in both banks' culture; culture training seems like a check the box exercise Behind in mindset; feels like a bank from 30 years ago

COVID was not pretty

Pros

- Work life balance was a plus

Cons

- The environment changed substantially once covid hit, the tone in the company went sour, people weren't as friendly and willing to help, the things they prided themselves on no longer existed, upper management went awol -during the merger many people got demoted and communication was often blind siding -was not "encouraged" to work from home, you were looked down upon if you did despite being told you can - HR was shady
